M7 Sequential Shifter System

200ms (milliseconds)... that's slightly slower than the time it takes light to travel around the Earth's equator, but on par with some of the world's most popular sports cars with paddle-shift systems from the factory (according to Autozine.org). With the brand new M7 Sequential Shifting System, that's what you're getting: quick 200ms shifts with your hands on the wheel at all times.
The M7 Sequential Shift System works on both the R53 and R56 models (non cabriolet/ convertible applications). The system features everything you need to keep your hands on the wheel and lap times down. With a number of programming options for safety and performance, the system can be customized to fit anyone's driving preferences.
Unlike factory paddle-shift systems, the M7 system still requires the use of the clutch to change gears. Some people argue that the clutch should (because it can) be set to activate without the driver pushing the pedal, but if that's what you're looking for then you should probably trade your current ride for one with an automatic transmission (joking... but not really). One big plus for keeping the clutch is a matter of safety. The system is pre-programmed to shift only when the clutch is engaged by the driver. This allows for accidental paddle pulls to be timed out, but also allows the driver to stack gears.
Stacking allows the driver to prepare for an upcoming gear change (either up or down) through more than one gear. By stacking, the driver can go from 6th to 4th with a couple pulls of a paddle and stepping on the clutch pedal (shift safety in regards to engine speed is, as it is with traditional stickshift, up to the driver). This may cause some concern about stacking all the way down into neutral or reverse, but the control box is configured against such events. This is accomplished by a customizable safety feature that requires the driver to hold the downshift paddle for a certain amount of time to get into neutral, and again for reverse. The system also includes a LED gear indicator that attaches to the factory tachometer so there's no guess work involved with your shifts. This mounts via our mounting arm but also fits in any standard-size gauge pod you may already have installed.
Also in the works: We're working to develop a bump-shift option. This will keep a stick in the location of the old shifter column but will have only forward and backwards movements for up or downshifts. Since the paddles move with the steering wheel, there may be confusion in a racing situation with the wheel close to opposite lock. With the bump-shift option, the driver doesn't have to waste time looking down at the wheel to figure which paddle is where. Instead, the driver simply reaches over to the touring car-style shifter stalk and makes the connection.
As everyone has different preferences, we are bouncing around the idea of having different heights available for this option: a stalk close to factory height, a slightly higher stalk than factory, and an all out WRC/ Touring Car type tall shifter for those that spend more time on the track than in their own beds. Stay tuned!
We suggest installation to be done by your trusted, local auto shop as there is a lot of work involved. If you are comfortable with electrical wiring and mechanic work, you may be able to do this at home with the help of a friend. This is by no means a small task and we expect typical installation to be at least 12 to 15 hours worth of work at home (depending on your skill level, a good weekend will usually be enough). Your local mechanic should be able to churn this out much faster as they will most likely have more hands on the job and the proper tools readily available.
Also note that a laptop with Windows operating system (Macs that have Windows installed work as well) is required to use the box configuration program. Installation of this product does not impair the ability to revert back to stock because none of the stock components are altered in any way (except for two holes drilled in the trunk for the cables to run through). In fact, the process of returning to stock is MUCH faster than installation of our system.
Warranty Info: The shifter box is covered under a full year warranty for the original purchaser. The paddle assembly/ bump-shift stick is covered under a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser.
M7 Coilovers

When we started engineering the M7 Coilovers, there were specific design issues that we wanted to address. Our other goal was to build an excellent shock at a very fair price point . . . and we believe we've done just that and more.
Issue #1: Dynamic ride and handling capabilities with exceptional compression and rebound control.
Issue #2: Knobs that are easy to adjust without removing the coilover from the suspension.
Issue #3: Class-leading performance at an affordable price.
The M7 Coilover System is a mono-tube, nitrogen gas pressure shock. The coilovers feature 15-position compression and rebound “click” adjustments, plus height adjustable settings. Addressing our design issues, we made sure both the front and rear adjustment knobs are extremely easy to access, plus the adjustments are easy to feel with the “clicks” so you know exactly what’s going on. The shocks are clear anodized aluminum that gives them a matt silver look.
Spring rates were chosen to give outstanding drivability both on and off the track--240 lbs. front and 280 lbs. rear. We also offer custom valving and spring rates ranging from 230 lbs.-900 lbs. Keep in mind that custom orders will add extra time for delivery and an additional charge for the custom valving and springs.

H-Sport Rear Sway Bar

Replacing your stock rear sway bar with one of the H-Sport bars will greatly affect your turn-in and cornering abilities. Each bar offers a larger diameter over the stock bar with 3 adjustable stiffness settings and comes complete with polyurethane bushings, bushing brackets and 90-degree zerk fittings for easy lubrication. By tying the rear wheels together via the sway bar, you can manipulate the way your car rotates around a corner. Do you notice the understeer that the MINI comes equipped with from the factory? Dial it out with a rear sway bar! This modification is a MUST for any driver looking to increase handling capabilities on a favored canyon road or shave some seconds off from track times.
H-Sport Front Sway Bar

Just like the rear sway bar and the rear wheels, the H-Sport Front Sway Bar will tie the two front wheels together to give the driver more precise steering input via two adjustment positions. The addition of one of the H-Sport Rear sway bars must accompany this modification in order to dial out the additional understeer that results from adding the front sway bar alone. The H-Sport Front Sway Bar (Sport) comes complete with polyurethane bushings, bushing brackets and zerk fittings for easy occasional lube.
H-Sport Rear Control Arms - Lower Only

This is a must for lowered MINIs! Lowering your MINI will affect the suspension geometry of your vehicle often adding more negative camber to the rear wheels. This results in poor handling (increased understeer) and uneven tire wear. While newer MINI models have the ability to adjust camber, the range of adjustability does not compare to that of the H-Sport Rear Control Arms (0° to - 4°). When used with the H-Sport Front Camber plates, the Rear Control Arms will allow you to customize your alignment settings to fit your personal style of driving.
Each Link is simply adjusted by loosening the lock nuts and then rotating the hex center for more or less camber. The Rear Camber Links are designed and tested to suit any street or track environment. Each Link comes fully built from H-Sport and is pre-set to the stock length. With the Links pre-set to the stock length, you can then use that camber setting as your new baseline. The Links themselves are made up of two tubular steel outer arms with a billet aluminum hex center. The polyurethane bushings can be greased by utilizing the zerk fittings at each end.
This set of two control arms to replace the lower stock control arms will adjust rear camber.

Fits the 2007-2008 R56 Cooper, Cooper S, Convertible & Aero: The Sport-Link™ Attachment provides a method of securely transporting bikes, skis and snowboards with the ability of towing up to 1400 lbs or carrying up to 150 lbs. of cargo. This innovative MINI Cooper accessory weighs 25 lbs. and attaches to the unibody frame of the MINI using existing bolts. That means (as opposed to conventional outdoor-lifestyle attachments) no drilling, welding or holes in the roof of your MINI!
Once the Sport-Link™ attachment is on your car, you won't see it! Only the cool stainless steel ports show through the rear. For the MINI Cooper, the ports emerge through the rear fascia. For the Cooper S they emerge directly through the two grilles.
The Sport-Link™ attachment ports are receivers for the Bike Rack, Ski/Snowboard Carrier, Tow-Link™ and Cargo Carrier. The Sport-Link™ and its attachments are black powder coated steel. This heavy-duty MINI Cooper Bicycle Rack secures to the patented MINI-FINI Sport-Link™ Attachment. The sturdy Bicycle Rack is made of powder-coated black steel with a main shaft that curves back to accommodate up to two bicycles. The bikes are held at the top with rubber-lined clamps that adjust for a variety of bike styles. A steel loop is provided to secure the two included tie-down straps. A steel bar at the bottom provides additional stability.
The MINI-FINI Bicycle Rack can be lowered to load the bikes or to access the hatch of the car. The rack can easily be placed back and locked in the transport position. The rack itself comes with two matched locks and two keys. One lock secures the rack to the Sport-Link™ Attachment. The second lock secures the main post in an upright position. Both locks come with weatherproof rubber caps. The MINI-FINI Bike Rack weighs approximately 21 pounds and disassembles easily for convenient storage.

This versatile unit is made mostly out of aluminum to make it as light as possible. Weighing just 26 pounds it is easy to change between this and your other Link System™ accessories. The bed is made from 1/16" aluminum tread-brite and the frame is 1/8" smooth aluminum. The upper perimeter is lined with textured rubber with an aluminum grip inside. The body is powder coated with textured black paint for a very durable finish. The handle will receive a padlock (not included) to keep the carrier locked securely into the Sport-Link™. There are also plenty of holes provided to tie down and secure whatever you plan on carrying.
