M7 Coilovers
Our Price: $1,499.00

When we started engineering the M7 Coilovers, there were specific design issues that we wanted to address. Our other goal was to build an excellent shock at a very fair price point . . . and we believe we've done just that and more.

Issue #1: Dynamic ride and handling capabilities with exceptional compression and rebound control.
Issue #2: Knobs that are easy to adjust without removing the coilover from the suspension.
Issue #3: Class-leading performance at an affordable price.

The M7 Coilover System is a mono-tube, nitrogen gas pressure shock. The coilovers feature 15-position compression and rebound “click” adjustments, plus height adjustable settings. Addressing our design issues, we made sure both the front and rear adjustment knobs are extremely easy to access, plus the adjustments are easy to feel with the “clicks” so you know exactly what’s going on. The shocks are clear anodized aluminum that gives them a matt silver look.

Spring rates were chosen to give outstanding drivability both on and off the track--240 lbs. front and 280 lbs. rear. We also offer custom valving and spring rates ranging from 230 lbs.-900 lbs. Keep in mind that custom orders will add extra time for delivery and an additional charge for the custom valving and springs.

M7 Rear Chassis Brace
Our Price: $279.00

During hard cornering, the MINI is prone to chassis flex that results in poor handling characteristics and the need for the driver to compensate. M7 now offers a way to fix this problem with the new M7 Rear Chassis Brace (RCB), one of the latest additions to the M7 Suspension Solutions line. This modification is perfect for people who want the body of their MINI to be stiffer, but don't want to deal with the fabrication and installation of a roll cage.

Our first installed system impressed the customer so much that he was inspired to call back within 20 minutes of leaving our office with reports of how the brace instantly changed his car's traits. He described how the rear end of the car felt heavier and more planted to the ground, and any kind of fishtailing effect felt done away with. Overall the handling of the car felt tighter and more responsive to the driver's commands.

The M7 Rear Chassis Brace is a great compliment to the immensely popular M7 Under Strut System (USS). Using the two together will give you the best in chassis stiffening without going the route of a roll cage.

Besides the benefit of more predictable handling, the Rear Chassis Brace allows for comfortable use of the rear seats. Unlike a roll cage, there are no harness bars or cross members to remove to allow access to the rear seats. The position of the rear seats is also unaffected!

Going another step further, with some minor modifications you can mount a fire extinguisher (not included) to the RCB. As many weekend track warriors find out, a fire extinguisher is often required by driving event coordinators. By attaching the fire extinguisher to the RCB, you can meet the organization's requirements and have safe and easy access to the fire extinguisher if the need for it arises. This eliminates the need to drill into the floor of the car or worry about not having a roll cage to mount the fire extinguisher. Since fire extinguishers mounted to the RCB are in the boot of the MINI, all passenger space is STILL unaffected by installation and use of the RCB.

Handling without sacrifice of passenger comfort, and a place to mount a fire extinguisher... The M7 Rear Chassis Brace is the perfect addition to the street MINI that sees the track as well.

Please Note: The RCB currently fits only the coupe. An application for the convertible will be available soon. An application for the R56 is also on the way!

M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates
Our Price: $129.00

Through the years, customers and friends with MINIs have had one common complaint: the strut towers mushroom after heavy impacts from the shocks and low aspect ratio tires. The MINI's shock towers take on a slightly convex shape barely visible at a first glance, but if you would compare it to the original sheet metal, you would find the horizontal plane has been moved as much as 3/8" upwards, throwing the suspension out of any possible alignment fix.

The problem will most likely show up as a slight pull either left or right when driving depending on which strut tower is buckled. The M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates (SRPs) will solve this problem by sandwiching the sheet metal and shock top plate, creating a homogenous top surface that will not bend, even during hard impacts.

If mushrooming is your primary concern, then the M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates offer the solid solution. Adding the M7 SRPs to your MINI is an inexpensive preventative measure to what could be an expensive fix. We have customers that won't drive a new MINI off the lot without a set of M7 SRPs installed, as well as dealers that sell every new MINI with a set of M7 SRPs.

Extremely durable, the 1/2" (13mm) thick plates come in sets of two (left and right) and are made from CNC machined aluminum that is hard anodized black to prevent chipping or oxidization. Our plates cover the ENTIRE surface of the strut tower (not just where the upper strut mount meets the tower) to evenly distribute any loads over a larger area and give you the extra peace of mind.

Installation is a snap and includes simple instructions that also addresses fixing existing mushrooming. No need for new bolts, the SRPs use the 3 stock bolts on each side for installation.

The M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates are designed to fit both the Cooper and Cooper S.

Please Note: The M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates and the M7 Strut Tower Brace are two separate products that have the same function in regards to strut tower mushrooming (you only need one or the other).
If you have performance driving in mind, check out the M7 Strut Tower Brace.
If your MINI is mainly a daily driver, the M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates are sufficient for your needs.

You cannot buy the SRPs and attach the cross-bar at a later time.

M7 Strut Tower Brace
Our Price: $199.00

If you are concerned about strut tower mushrooming and looking for improved handing, then the M7 Strut Tower Brace (STB) is the answer.
This is the ONLY strut tower brace on the market that features anti-mushrooming technology.

Over and over we've heard the same complaint: the strut towers mushroom after heavy impacts from the shocks and low aspect ratio tires. At first glance the shock towers take on a barely visible convex shape, but if you would compare it to the original sheet metal, you would find the horizontal plane has been moved as much as 3/8" upwards, throwing the suspension out of any possible alignment fix.

The problem will most likely show up as a slight pull either left or right depending on which strut tower is buckled. The end mounting plates of the M7 Strut Tower Brace will solve this problem by sandwiching the sheet metal and shock top plate, creating a homogenous top surface that will not bend, even during hard impacts.

The M7 STB features 1/2" (13mm) thick end plates that add extra strength to the strut towers and prevent mushrooming and potentially costly repairs. The top brace improves handling by stiffening up the front end, especially during hard turns. Made of hard anodized aluminum, the M7 Strut Tower brace features a durable black finish that looks great and will not chip or oxidize.

We have customers that won't drive their new MINI off the lot without one and dealers that sell every new MINI with either the M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates or M7 Strut Tower Brace.

Concerned about clearance? No worries. The M7 STB profile is designed to clear both stock and aftermarket cold air intakes & ECUs. The strut tower brace's modular design allows easy access to the oil filter or any other accessories that might normally be blocked and require removal of the entire brace.

Installation is a snap (often taking less than 20 minutes)! No need for new bolts, the brace uses the 3 stock bolts on each side. Installation instructions for this and all of our products can be found on the Tech Page.

Please Note:The brace may raise the hood slightly. Minor modification to the hood liner may be necessary (put away the scissors, it's not that involved!). This is easily fixed by "molding" the hood liner around the brace.

Important Info for Customers: The M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates and the M7 Strut Tower Brace are two separate products that have the same function in regards to strut tower mushrooming (you only need one or the other).
If your MINI is mainly a daily driver, the M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates are sufficient for your needs.
If you have performance driving in mind, the M7 Strut Tower Brace is what you're looking for!
You cannot buy the SRPs and attach the cross-bar at a later time.

Not many upgrades will force you to say, "damn that's incredible" or just plain "wow." The M7 Under Strut System (USS) features three integrated pieces that will brace, connect, and triangulate the bottom of the chassis for greatly improved chassis stiffness. This improved stiffness will give the MINI better turn-in capability allowing the car to rotate into the corners with ease, and also greatly reduce understeer. The M7 Under Strut System is made of extruded and CNC machined aluminum that comes in a black anodized finish that’s durable and designed to prevent chipping and corrosion. Stainless steel fasteners and necessary tools for nut insert installation are all included! We’d say our months of rigorous testing at local race tracks, treacherous canyon roads and sweeping on/ off-ramps, were a good investment—just the same thing you’ll think about the M7 USS.

Installation Notes: On page 7 of the installation guide, the instructions are to use the enclosed drill bit to open up the existing hole. Usually, all this takes is just one pass with the drill. Opening the hole too much will result in the provided hardware not fitting properly.
IMPORTANT: If you are not using a lift, please be sure that the drill bit can be used without having to drill at an angle. We cannot stress enough how important this is. Drilling at an angle will cause the hole for the nut insert to be too large for proper installation. Please do NOT attempt to install your USS on a slanted driveway.

Applications:
'02 - '06 The M7 USS works with the MCS, MC, and incredibly well with the Convertible to help reduce the dreaded cowl shake.
M7 Sport Springs

At M7 Tuning, we pride ourselves on raising the bar when it comes to Research & Development. The entire suspension component line sets the standard for handling and quality engineering and the M7 Sport Springs are no exception.

Months of testing resulted in a spring that takes your MINI Cooper and Cooper S to the next plateau in cornering performance, while providing a smoother ride and enhanced stability over uneven surfaces. Impossible, you say? We beg to differ.

The key to the M7 Sport Spring system is the progressive rate spring. At the relatively low cornering loads encountered during your daily commute and around town, our Sport Springs give you a ride that's actually smoother and more comfortable than the infamously jarring OEM spring setup.

Take a drive to your favorite mountain road, autocross course, or weekend track day, and things quickly get serious. As you load up our progressive rate Sport Springs at corner entrance, the springs quickly reveal their Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde nature by giving you increased grip levels, reduced body roll, and a lower center of gravity!

All the benefits of a 1.3" drop (front and rear) with no compromise in ride quality... this is what M7 Research & Development is all about! Virtually every spring customer has called us to let us know just how great these springs are and how much better the ride quality is.

SPRING RATES:

Front: 219 lbs/in (3.9 kg/mm)

Rear: 224 lbs/in (4.0 kg/mm)

H-Sport Rear Sway Bar
Our Price: $210.00

Arguably one of the most noticeable modifications an owner can make to his or her MINI is the replacement of the stock rear sway bar with an adjustable and larger diameter bar. 1FastMIN is proud to offer the full line of H-Sport rear sway bar applications to fit your personal driving style!

Replacing your stock rear sway bar with one of the H-Sport bars will greatly affect your turn-in and cornering abilities. Each bar offers a larger diameter over the stock bar with 3 adjustable stiffness settings and comes complete with polyurethane bushings, bushing brackets and 90-degree zerk fittings for easy lubrication. By tying the rear wheels together via the sway bar, you can manipulate the way your car rotates around a corner. Do you notice the understeer that the MINI comes equipped with from the factory? Dial it out with a rear sway bar! This modification is a MUST for any driver looking to increase handling capabilities on a favored canyon road or shave some seconds off from track times.
H-Sport Front Sway Bar
Our Price: $160.00

Just like the rear sway bar and the rear wheels, the H-Sport Front Sway Bar will tie the two front wheels together to give the driver more precise steering input via two adjustment positions. The addition of one of the H-Sport Rear sway bars must accompany this modification in order to dial out the additional understeer that results from adding the front sway bar alone. The H-Sport Front Sway Bar (Sport) comes complete with polyurethane bushings, bushing brackets and zerk fittings for easy occasional lube.
H-Sport Camber Plates
Our Price: $518.00

A new design with benefits for all! From the factory, the MINI offers no adjustability for front wheel camber. This can be problematic for those that change their wheel and tire sizes which results in poor, uneven tire wear. Non-adjustability is also a problem for cars that take part in spirited drives or track days because of loss of grip in the front tires along with poor tire wear. The H-Sport Front Camber plates are easy to adjust along the large camber range (0° to -3.8°) by simply undoing the 2 hex bolts on each side (note: Only MINI's equipped with Coilovers & Linear Springs can achieve over 2° due to spring diameter).

The H-Sport Camber plates feature machined tick marks for easy and repeatable camber changes. Along with the easy adjustability, these newly designed camber plates offer steel base plates to reinforce the strut tower, which helps to combat the mushrooming effect. No extra modifications need to be made to the strut tower for installation. As an added benefit, these camber plates will not increase the front ride height like other camber plates on the market.

H-Sport Rear Control Arms - Lower Only
Our Price: $252.00

This is a must for lowered MINIs! Lowering your MINI will affect the suspension geometry of your vehicle often adding more negative camber to the rear wheels. This results in poor handling (increased understeer) and uneven tire wear. While newer MINI models have the ability to adjust camber, the range of adjustability does not compare to that of the H-Sport Rear Control Arms (0° to - 4°). When used with the H-Sport Front Camber plates, the Rear Control Arms will allow you to customize your alignment settings to fit your personal style of driving.

Each Link is simply adjusted by loosening the lock nuts and then rotating the hex center for more or less camber. The Rear Camber Links are designed and tested to suit any street or track environment. Each Link comes fully built from H-Sport and is pre-set to the stock length. With the Links pre-set to the stock length, you can then use that camber setting as your new baseline. The Links themselves are made up of two tubular steel outer arms with a billet aluminum hex center. The polyurethane bushings can be greased by utilizing the zerk fittings at each end.

This set of two control arms to replace the lower stock control arms will adjust rear camber.
